Your First Visit to Our Belleville Practice

New patients are warmly welcomed to our Belleville chiropractic office.

When scheduling your appointment, please reserve 1 hour and 15 minutes for your first visit. New patients often remark that our office is professional, thorough, and friendly.  That's good, because its our goal to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a family-like atmosphere.

When you enter our office you'll be greeted by name and warmly welcomed. You'll be given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities. If you've already completed your admitting paperwork, great!  If not, you'll be given adequate time to do so. While Dr. Resco is reviewing your completed paperwork, you'll get to watch a short 5-minute video that will explain our non-invasive, painless, state-of-the-art computerized examination technology.

You'll then discuss with Dr. Resco your health challenges and goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you.  If it looks promising, a thorough examination and any necessary x-rays will be performed to identify the cause of your health challenge.

After your exam and x-rays, you'll schedule an appointment for your Report of Findings. You'll be given some helpful information to review at home before your Report of Findings that will supply answers to the most commonly asked questions about chiropractic.

Dr. Royce Asks some important questions of interest to Belleville residents - Chiropractor Belleville Dr. Royce Asks...

Why is a "slipped disc" unlikely?
Separating each spinal vertebra is a disc. Its fibrous outer ring holds in a jelly-like material. Because of the way a disc attaches to the spinal bones above and below it, it can't actually "slip." However, a disc can bulge, tear, herniate, thin and collapse. But it can't slip.
Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognize two types of nerve disorders involved in subluxation. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
